The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa is a luxury getaway with a picturesque and especially convenient setting; shopping, entertainment, golf and rolling hills perfect for hiking. We enjoyed Ocean Pearl Spa with services that helped restore the mind and body. The spa incorporates marine-based botanicals and organic skincare products for body treatments that nourish, purify and restore. We enjoyed body and massage treatments which melted away tension and uplifted our spirits.
After a relaxing morning, we enjoyed authentic Italian brick fired pizza, beers, and burgers, over lunch at 7 Mile Kitchen. The restaurant is set atop a hill for a memorable experience in a relaxed setting.
The property is a coastal paradise with views to the ocean and we seized the moment and enjoyed cocktails and conversation until dinner. The dining highlight during our stay was Twenty/20 which specializes in coastal cuisine using ingredients from local providers within a 20-mile radius. We enjoyed dinner on the terrace with uniquely crafted selections such as pan-seared halibut and a maple bacon bourbon cocktail.
