Ceja Vineyards is an ultra premium Latino Family owned winery in California’s Napa Valley. It was founded by Amelia, Pedro, Armando and Martha Ceja, a family of Mexican-American immigrants.

Celebrated winemaker Armando Ceja immigrated to the United States at age seven and immediately went to work in the fields of California alongside his siblings and parents. He made his first Cabernet Sauvignon barrel right after turning 18 at the time he enrolled in the enology and viticulture programs at UC Davis. Armando is now a respected vineyard manager who uses his knowledge and experience to create a limited collection of handcrafted wines.

Amelia Ceja, the first Mexican-American woman to be president of a wine production company, has worked in the wine industry for eight years. Under her leadership, Inc. Magazine selected Amelia “Entrepreneur of the Year.” Amelia’s contributions to the wine industry were recognized in 2005, when she was named “Woman of the Year” by the California Legislature. “Amelia is a great role model for the next generation of Latinos,” said Senator Wesley Chesbro. “She has not only broken the glass ceiling in a very competitive business but has earned respect throughout the wine industry.”

Near the vineyards, you will find Bistro Sabor, a restaurant serving contemporary expressions of Latin America’s favorite street food and snacks. Open for lunch, dinner and late night hours, this quick-service restaurant from Ariel Ceja offers an eclectic dining experience in the heart of downtown Napa: hot-from-the-fryer churros and savory pupusas, salmon ceviche tostadas, chorizo quesadillas, fresh tropical fruit salads and made-to-order tacos that feature everything from roasted vegetables to seafood to carnitas.
