Las Vegas is known for its neon lights, world-class gaming, and high-energy nightlife — but beyond the dazzling Strip lies a quieter, more intimate side. From spa indulgences to romantic fine dining, couples can escape into a luxurious, sensual version of Las Vegas that offers relaxation, passion, and unforgettable memories. We explored this side of the city through the exceptional offerings of MGM Resorts International.
We stayed at Delano Las Vegas, a serene, smoke-free and gaming-free hotel that feels more like a luxury retreat than a mega-resort. Despite its size, it offers a boutique experience. The design incorporates elements of Nevada’s natural beauty — think sandstone boulders and organic materials. A 12,000-pound Mojave Desert boulder split in two greets you in the lobby, immediately grounding you in a sense of place.
Our suite featured a separate living room, two modern bathrooms, and a master bedroom, perfect for a couple’s escape. Breakfast at Della’s Kitchen was a highlight — comfort food like French toast and freshly baked pastries set the tone for a pampered day ahead.
We spent the afternoon at Kiki de Montparnasse at The Shops at Crystals — a boutique that redefines sensual shopping in Las Vegas. The store is styled like a private salon, with plush vintage furniture, fine art, and silk bedding creating a seductive atmosphere.
We were welcomed with champagne and chocolates as we explored the Boudoir, a luxurious fitting room space complete with velvet drapes and adjustable lighting. This boutique even includes a Jewelry Bar, featuring one-of-a-kind handcrafted treasures. Shopping here isn’t just retail therapy — it’s an experience designed to spark intimacy and romance.
Evenings in Las Vegas should be both indulgent and elegant. We headed to Michael Mina’s Bardot Brasserie for a French culinary experience like no other. The dim lighting and noir-inspired ambiance set the mood for a cozy, flirtatious dinner.
We sampled cocktails curated by skilled mixologists and enjoyed wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, and the Loire Valley. Our meal included classic favorites like Duck À L’orange, Steak Frites, and Parisian Gnocchi. It was the perfect prelude to a romantic night out in Las Vegas.
The next morning, we embraced the luxurious side of Las Vegas with a spa day at the Bellagio Spa. Spanning 65,000 square feet, this zen-influenced spa is a sanctuary of calm and balance, offering treatments from around the world — Egypt, Bali, Thailand, India, and more.
We began in the serene Meditation Room, then experienced Watsu therapy, a gentle water-based massage combining Zen Shiatsu and stretching in a 94-degree private pool. Afterward, we enjoyed a facial treatment that left us glowing and fully rejuvenated.
For a casual but satisfying bite, we grabbed lunch at Shake Shack, located conveniently on the Strip. Their all-natural Angus beef burgers, crinkle-cut fries, frozen custard, and craft beer hit the spot. Originally from NYC’s Madison Square Park, Shake Shack adds a deliciously familiar taste to your Las Vegas food journey.
To end our sensual escape in Las Vegas, we attended Zumanity, Cirque du Soleil’s provocative cabaret-style show at New York-New York Hotel & Casino. This adult-only performance blends eroticism with acrobatics, aerial stunts, and exotic dance — celebrating the many facets of human intimacy.
Hosted by the charismatic “Mistress of Sensuality,” the cast of 45 performers celebrates love in all forms, defying conventions and embracing individuality. From tango to flamenco, striptease to aerial artistry — Zumanity is one of the most uniquely sensual experiences in Las Vegas.
From seductive shopping and fine French dining to world-class spa treatments and one-of-a-kind entertainment, Las Vegas offers much more than its reputation suggests. With MGM Resorts International at the center of it all, couples can craft an unforgettable escape tailored for romance and indulgence.
