Natural Beauty.

Known for its rainy climate, waterfront and the iconic Space Needle, Seattle – whose name is derived from the Native American name “Sealth,” the Chief of the Suquamish tribe – offers a vibrant and charming city.

Seattle has many unique points of interest, some of which we experienced such as the world famous Space Needle and the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum. We enjoyed a lovely evening seeing the inspiration and influences of artist Dale Chihuly, as well as learning about the process used to make these amazing and colorful creations. The exhibition includes eight Galleries, the centerpiece Glasshouse and a lush Garden. We also enjoyed fresh seafood from Seattle’s original farmers market, Pike Place Market and coffee from the original Starbucks’s, and yes, the line was just as long!
